Camerado Springs Middle School Art Contest

One very talented artist from Camerado Springs Middle School will have her art work gracing our Spring/Summer Caffe Santoro gift/reward cards. We ran a contest in cooperation with the art class at Camerado where the winner would get their artwork printed as the graphic for our spring/summer gift card. The winner is Riley Partanen! Besides getting her art gracing our card but she wins one milk shake or smoothie per month for the year! Congratulations Riley, nice artwork!

Sierra Sharks

GOOOO SHARKS! It was fun seeing all the families come in and try on their suits. Thanks for thinking of us as a place to congregate! What’s a coffee shop for? Breast Cancer Pink Ribbon Charity Guitar

Ginny Jobe and Christl McKenney graced our cafe with this spectacular craftsman quality guitar. We raised over $200 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation which goes toward breast cancer research. It was a very successful day. Keep tuned to our blog and facebook page as Ginny tells me there’s a Veteran Military Guitar in the works. Thank you for all who dropped in and helped support.

Younglife Banquet

The Caffe Santoro crew made an appearance at the Younglife fundraising banquet on Saturday, March 17th. In addition to our coffee themed table we provided hot beverages for the event. What a great night to celebrate the impact this great organization has made in our community.

Hearts Were Broken

That’s right, we broke some hearts this past Valentines day when we were offering a limited ammount of our DELISH cinnamon rolls for just a buck. If you’re following us on facebook you would’ve known that we were featuring these fun treats for just $1.00. Unfortunately there were those smart individuals who knew what our cinnamon rolls taste like and were in EARLY and wiped us out quickly. This is when we had to break hearts of those who came in only to find they had missed out.

The two pictured below are Willow Venebal and Bella Smith who are attending the California Montessori Project School in Shingle Springs, http://cacmp.org/cmpss/ and were our interns for two days. They were FANTASTIC in helping with creating these treats and serving our team and our guests. We at Caffe Santoro thoroughly enjoy having these young people join us for a few days as they get to experience life outside of the classroom. I think they had one heck of a BIG ‘S’ time!
